Description
The parts counterperson’s primary tasks involve selling parts to customers over the counter, phone, or through the shop. As a parts counter worker, you will need to help customers select their required parts in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Parts counter employees are also expected to answer incoming parts phone calls to provide price quotes on request, as well as assisting in maintaining the parts inventory. The position of parts counterperson is a full-time job.
